Concordia University Wisconsin is expanding a program aimed at helping students build businesses beyond its Mequon campus, with kickoff workshops in four state cities this week.

CULaunch already has attracted 44 potential start-ups with ideas that range from restaurants and a party bus to computer apps, a compounding pharmacy and psychiatric counseling services, said Dan Sem, a pharmacy professor who is dean of the university’s business school.
