I’ll be saying TGIF this week, but not because I’m excited for the long holiday weekend. This Friday marks the start of our inaugural gBETA Milwaukee cohort, and I could not be more thrilled to welcome five companies into the gBETA/gener8tor family!
gBETA is a free program for founders with an affiliation to a Wisconsin college or university. Maggie Brickerman from our team has run three successful programs in Madison whose companies have raised $1.1M and created 40 jobs, and she just kicked off her fourth cohort last week. I am very excited to bring the program to Milwaukee and work toward seeing those same results (or better! Nothing like a little friendly internal competition!). Read the full story here.
