To address Milwaukee’s relative lack of high-growth, venture-fundable start-up companies, gener8tor said it is launching a program this summer aimed at creating more of them.

Gener8tor will train five area start-ups through its gBeta program, which provides free coaching and connections to very early-stage companies with ties to any Wisconsin college or university.

“We’ve run three successful gBeta programs in Madison. Now we want to expand that further across the state,” said Abby Taubner, director of gBeta’s Milwaukee program. “We’re excited to see what we find and grow in Milwaukee.” Read the full Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story here.
