SimplifIDe Inc., whose platform uses facial features, voice and other biometric data to replace traditional passwords, has raised $1 million of seed funding, the Madison-based company said Tuesday.

SimplifIDe also said it has elected its first outside directors: J.B. Van Hollen, Wisconsin’s former attorney general; and Matthew Miszewski, the state’s former chief information officer.
