More than 70 years after Malcolm Whyte and Herbert Hirschboeck founded the law practice that would become Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, it will combine July 1 with much larger, Kansas City-based Husch Blackwell, the firms said Friday.

The combined firm, to be called Husch Blackwell, will have more than 700 attorneys and offices in 19 cities. Annual revenue for the entire enterprise in 2015 would have been about $346 million.
