The List of 52 Wisconsin-based women-owned businesses represents a wide variety of industries and areas of expertise.
Responses were strong for the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Sept. 23 compilation of businesses that are at least 51 percent women-owned and are based in Wisconsin.
The List is ranked by total revenue for the latest fiscal year and most firms were open to revealing how they fared in 2015.
Of the 44 firms that were on last year’s list, 28 saw revenue rise from the previous year.
Only those firms that submitted information were considered for inclusion on The List and this year a few decided not to divulge revenue figures or simply not respond — which left them out of the group of 52. Read the full story here.
