Waukesha County has tapped an experienced hand as it launches a new economic development organization.

Timothy M. Casey will lead the Waukesha County Center for Growth, Inc., which aims to be a one-stop-shop for businesses looking to expand or relocate to Waukesha County.

Casey, a former Wauwatosa alder, has been the economic development administrator at the City of Brookfield since 2010, working on projects that include an expansion of Milwaukee Tool. He also was president of the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce and the director of economic development for Milwaukee County.

“Tim’s strong economic development background and relationships throughout the region and state will be a tremendous asset to helping businesses throughout the county grow,” Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow said. “I look forward to partnering with him, our local communities and other stakeholders to drive business growth in Waukesha County and our region.”
