Redox will partner with Medable to enable the use of EHR data to streamline mobile medical research, the company recently announced.

According to a release, the partnership will enable the first fully integrated medical research platform between smartphones and EHRs. Using Medable’s technology, Axon, allows researchers to collect data via mobile technology without the need to use a developer.

“Medable’s platform and mobile first approach provide a clear path to accelerating the discovery of medical breakthroughs,” Redox CEO Luke Bonney said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to empower innovation like Medable’s. Our integration services will allow Medable to access critical data elements that will support its work and improve the user experience for researchers.”

The two companies’ technologies are in use independently at more than 100 health systems across the country. Read the story here.
