Buck Naked is heading to South Korea.

Belleville-based Duluth Trading Co., makers of the Buck Naked underwear line, has been selected to outfit the USA luge team when the athletes are not racing down an icy track at breakneck speeds.

The off-sled clothing being provided by Duluth Trading will outfit an athlete from top to bottom.

The five-year partnership between USA Luge and Duluth Trading officially started Friday, at the start of the World Cup luge racing schedule to quality for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

“We’re excited to outfit USA Luge with the gear they need to get the job done,” said Stephanie Pugliese, president and CEO of Duluth Trading.

As the official off-sled outfitter of the luge team, Duluth Trading will be able to use USA Luge marks and logos in marketing, public relations and social media campaigns.

“We are proud to have Duluth Trading on board as a sponsor of USA Luge,” said Gordy Sheer, USA Luge director of marketing and sponsorships.

“American luge athletes and coaches spend long days in harsh, cold conditions to fine-tune technique and build better results,” Sheer said. “That’s why Duluth Trading makes a perfect team member.”
