Foxconn Technology Group showed another layer of its plans for Wisconsin with the Feb. 6 announcement of a Milwaukee corporate office and innovation center, and suggested there is more to come.

The Taiwanese company’s main Wisconsin project is the $10 billion LCD screen production plant in Mount Pleasant. But company officials all along have shown interest in more than just manufacturing, wanting to partner with local companies and seek innovative uses for its products.

Speaking at a press conference announcing Foxconn’s purchase of an office building from Northwestern Mutual, Alan Yeung, Foxconn’s head of U.S. strategic initiatives, referred to Foxconn’s corporate office plans for the property at 611 E. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. He gave a sense of the broader vision for the future. Read the full story here.
