Milwaukee entrepreneur and philanthropist Andy Nunemaker is among the group of four Milwaukee-area business executives who will be inducted this year into the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame.

Nunemaker, president and CEO of West Allis technology firm Dynamis Software Corp., is one of the most active Milwaukee-area business executives in community initiatives. Currently, he is board chair of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and is spearheading efforts to raise $120 million to fund the MSO’s acquisition and renovation of the historic Warner Grand Theatre in downtown Milwaukee.

He is involved in numerous other initiatives and charity efforts.

After serving as a high-ranking GE Healthcare executive, including CEO of GE Healthcare in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, he was tapped to be chief executive officer of health care IT firm EMSystems LLC in 2004, which he grew before it was sold in 2010.
