Marsha Lindsay, who has helped companies large and small to brand products, services and even their missions, will lead off the 16th annual Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference, June 5-6 in Madison.

Lindsay, who started her company as a UW-Madison graduate student and grew it to service firms that range from Fortune 100 multi-nationals to homegrown startups, will open the conference Tuesday morning, June 5, at Union South in Madison.

As chairwoman of Lindsay, Stone & Briggs, Lindsay has been honored as a “woman of distinction” by the International Woman’s Forum, named to Working Woman Magazine’s 500 top women businesses owners, and honored as Wisconsin Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.

Her expertise is the science of human information processing: How people implicitly gather and absorb information, and subconsciously file it in memory structures tagged for functional and emotional relevance. Lindsay’s findings have been presented from Berkeley to Zurich, from London to New York – and just around the corner in Wisconsin business settings.

“In a world where technology, demographics and culture are changing how consumers receive and ‘store’ information, Lindsay can put young companies on a path to finding their unique brand,” said Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council.

Powering bright ideas for Wisconsin entrepreneurs” is the theme of the conference, where ‘treps from around the state will showcase their innovations, services and technologies. A dozen panel tracks formed under three unique stages of “launch,” “grow” and “succeed” will appeal to entrepreneurs in all stages. Detailed panel information will soon be on the conference website: witrepsconference.com.

Produced by the Tech Council, the Entrepreneurs’ Conference is one of the largest events for entrepreneurs and early stage investors in the Upper Midwest.
