Five members of Wisconsin’s delegation in the U.S. House of Representatives have urged the leadership of key committees, including the Appropriations panel, to act on proposals to better finance and manage apprenticeships that will produce talent for the nation’s tech industry. The Tech Councils of North America, of which the Wisconsin Technology Council is a member, has asked federal lawmakers to support the CHANCE in Tech Act, H.R. 3174. A letter urging action on tech apprenticeship proposals was circulated by Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., and signed by Reps. Mike Gallagher, Jim Sensenbrenner and Sean Duffy, R-Wis., and Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wis.
