Global Sustainability Trends – Opportunities for Wisconsin Businesses

April 11 @ 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

Energy efficiency technology, CO2 reduction, and sustainable supply chains are topics on the strategic plans, balance sheets and minds of company leaders around the globe.
As expectations toward sustainability change – regulations and policy will follow. Now that the ground-breaking Paris Agreement on climate change has entered into force, how do countries make good on their national commitments to tackle this global threat?  Regardless of shifts in domestic policies – international regulations will continue to set the bar. What opportunities exist for WI companies?
Join MITA for this innovative session – a vitally important topic that will impact your ability to compete not just domestically, but globally. Learn about the changes in sustainable business practices and the opportunities these hold for your company.
Our speakers include experts on the topics of energy efficiency and carbon emission mitigation as well as exporters who have had to change business practices as a result of global environmental policies.
Our first speaker, Clay Nesler is the Vice President, Global Energy and Sustainability for the Building Efficiency business of Johnson Controls. He is responsible for energy and sustainability policy, programs and strategy and leads the company’s global environmental sustainability council.
