The March 13 forum will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the J. Galt Pub at Wood Communications Group, 4801 South Biltmore Lane on Madison’s far East Side, follow this link to map. Cost is $10 per person in advance and $20 at the door, including refreshments. Register by March 12.
Based in Milwaukee, Helios Solar Works manufactures high-performance mono-crystalline solar modules for solar electric systems. Competing in a worldwide market that is dominated by Chinese imports, Helios has managed to grow a manufacturing business in Wisconsin. Ostrenga will discuss the company’s founding, its growth and survival.
The monthly forums focus on the needs and challenges faced by entrepreneurs and others working in Wisconsin’s clean technology sectors. That includes power systems, controls, alternative fuels and more. Each program will include a presentation, audience Q&A and networking.
The forum is produced by the Wisconsin Technology Council in cooperation with the Wisconsin Energy Research Consortium, Wood Communications Group and Kremer Ventures.
