“Western Wisconsin is fortunate to have groups such as Momentum West, as well as R&D resources within the University of Wisconsin and technical college systems, that can be tapped by entrepreneurs,” said Tom Still, president of the Wisconsin Technology Council and WIN. “By plugging into the right networks, entrepreneurs can find the resources they need to develop technologies, build prototypes and launch products.”

Learn how to utilize internal and external resources to access technologies in the R&D phase and take them from concept to development. Panelists include Paul Wagner, CEO of Minnesota Wire; John Walton, president of Advanced Laser Machining Inc.; and Kyle Olson, president and CEO of Specialty Pallet and Crate. The panel will be moderated by Randy Hulke, director of the UW-Stout Technology Transfer Institute.

The event is sponsored by Chippewa Valley Technical College. The WIN-Western Wisconsin chapter and Momentum West will continue a series of quarterly events in 2010; the next event is scheduled for April 1. Locations and topics to be announced.
