APPLY NOW FOR THE FALL 2017 PROGRAM

Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2017 WERCBench Labs Program. Supported by a roster of over 90 world-class mentors, M-WERC is looking for up to 10 energy-related start-up teams to participate in the program. The Fall 2017 program will be similar to the two-previous early-stage, start-up programs held in the in summer 2015 and fall 2016. Each of those two programs graduated nine teams each.

“WERCBench Labs is an entrepreneurial immersive technology program — providing a unique opportunity for start-ups to interact directly with highly-experienced and technical mentors”, notes Jeff Anthony.  “We urge teams to request the full Application Package from us, and then to submit an application on-line, below, before June 30th if they wish to apply”.

Participants will have access to the leading companies in the Energy, Power and Controls sector, enabled by the M-WERC regional cluster of business and academic institutions, providing unparalleled opportunities for start-ups and entrepreneurs in the energy industry.

M-WERC will once again instruct the team in this mentor-driven, technology immersive program through the lean start-up curriculum and will require participants to complete a rigorous and aggressive customer discovery and business model canvas exploration during the 12-week program. Classes will run from September through November, with a Demo Day in mid-December 2017.
