Milwaukee online retailer Wantable Inc. has leased 70,000 square feet of distribution center space next to a FedEx shipping center near General Mitchell International Airport, company founder Jalem Getz confirmed Friday.

The company moved into the building at 5315 S. Third St. in June, he said.

Getz had planned to take on more space at a previous distribution center location at 507 S. Second St., but had to look elsewhere when additional space was not available at that location, he said.

The company was using about 55,000 square feet on Second Street. The operations moved to the new airport location and the company will fill the extra 15,000 square feet there over time, Getz said. Wantable plans to hire between 15 and 30 people in the next year or so. Read the full story here.
