In 2014, University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate Paul Hager sold his voice-to-text technology startup, VoVision LLC, to a subsidiary of Microsoft Corp.

That same year, Hager bought a company he had been previously working for, Information Technology Professionals, a small Milwaukee-born startup offering cloud computing services to law firms in Wisconsin. Within just a few years as owner and chief executive, Hager has turned ITP into one of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

ITP recently cracked the Inc. Magazine list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America. The ranking marked the company’s fourth consecutive time on the list. ITP, which ranked No. 3,653 on the 2018 list, reported a three-year growth of 101 percent between 2014 and 2017 and revenue of $8.1 million in 2017.

By the end of 2018, the company will have expanded its payroll by as much as 30 percent, Hager said. Within the next three years, Hager expects the company will have doubled in size. Read the full story here.
