BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation Inc. today announced that it has invested $250,000 in Wantable, Inc and $50,000 in SteamChain. Both companies are based in the Milwaukee area.

This brings the total number of companies that BrightStar has invested in since it started in February of 2014 to forty-four, and the total amount invested in those companies to over $6.5 million.

SteamChain is a software company that utilizes block chain as an underlying part of its technology that allows industrial machinery manufacturers to alter their business and pricing models based on the ongoing performance and usage of their product utilizing block chain technology.
