Representatives of Eli Lilly will visit Madison this spring to meet with Wisconsin companies and researchers and to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships.

Those interested in learning more about this event, Lilly’s areas of core competencies and its investment interests should do the following:

1)    Visit the Wisconsin Department of Commerce’s website at www.commerce.wi.gov  and click on Wisconsin Strategic Alliance Program/Lilly Matchmaking Event to review Lilly’s areas of interest and to submit a non-confidential executive summary of your research and technology. These summaries are due by 5 p.m. March 11. Lilly will review your summary and those of interest will be invited for additional discussions in late April 2009.

2)  Participate in the Eli Lilly and Company webinar Wednesday, March 4, from noon to 2 p.m. CST, to learn about Lilly’s areas of interest and partnering strategies.

3)  Attend the BioForward breakfast in late April to hear a presentation from members of Lilly’s Global External Research and Development teamy.  You will learn more about Lilly’s partnering strategies and philosophy.  Check back at www.commerce.wi.gov for final dates and location.
