Foxconn expects development of its downtown Green Bay innovation center to follow in the footsteps of plans to renovate its Milwaukee headquarters.

Bob Brandherm, Foxconn’s director of project management and construction, said the Taiwanese manufacturer plans by the end of the year to complete the purchase of the Watermark building, 301 N. Washington St., send out a request for proposals to engineering and architecture firms, and begin hiring staff.

He said the request for proposals would be very similar to the one the company sent out Wednesday for upgrades and modernization of its new North American headquarters building at 611 E. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. Read the full story here.
