“It’s OK to relax a bit when it comes to digesting month-to-month employment statistics. They’re notoriously lumpy for reasons ranging from seasonal hiring patterns to weather, from fuel prices to stock market blips, and even political uncertainty. Placing too much stock in one month’s jobless figures – up or down – can be an unending roller-coaster ride.”
