Madison-based AkitaBox, whose software automates maintenance, planning and inspections in building management, said Thursday it has raised $1.1 million in a round of seed funding.

Leading the round was Rock Oak Capital Partners LLC, the funding arm ofPractice Velocity LLC, an Illinois company that provides urgent care software and services.
