In the face of overwhelming evidence that Wisconsin lags the rest of the nation in business formation, they disbelieve.

Last week, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, a well-regarded entrepreneurial think tank, released a report showing Wisconsin was rock bottom in a key measure of entrepreneurial activity for the second year in a row. Wisconsin was 50th out of the 50 states; the Milwaukee area was next to last among large metros.
