Sen. Tammy Baldwin could be known as the “Startup Senator” based on all the work she’s done to help boost economic growth through entrepreneurship and innovation.
At a roundtable last week that was part of Forward Festival, Sen. Baldwin talked briefly about how she plans to reintroduce her Small Business Innovation Act, which will allow startups increased access to venture capital, and includes biotechnology and life sciences in the bill’s targeted industries.
