Industrial Energy Efficiency Working Group to host a conference Sept 21

Milwaukee, WI –M-WERC’s Industrial Energy Efficiency (IEE) Working Group will host a unique conference on September 21, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The event is located at the M-WERC Energy Innovation Center, 4201 N 27th Street, Milwaukee WI 53216  

“The Business Case for Industrial Energy Efficiency” conference is designed to be a highly efficient, one-stop application oriented conference, for small to medium sized manufacturers wanting to develop actionable and money saving strategies.

The conference is geared for owners, executives, and key decision makers of small-mid size manufacturers, utility account managers, industrial energy efficiency consultants, and utility trade allies. It will cover multiple examples of leveraging external resources, and smart investments. Case studies will be presented by Wisconsin small to mid-size manufacturers who have made attractive investments in Energy Efficiency.

The key note, Trending Toward the FutureCritical Issues Facing Manufacturing”, will be given by Mr. Buckley Brinkman, Executive Director/CEO Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing and Productivity.

Presentations will also be made by Wisconsin utilities and M-WERC members and partners including WMEP, Focus on Energy, Franklin Energy, Godfrey & Kahn and the WI Office on Energy Innovation.

This conference is designed to provide insight on how to:

  • Reduce energy bills while improving production quantity and quality
  • Identify the most cost effective IEE options
  • Develop strong business cases for IEE investment
  • Identify incentives and financing available to support investments
  • Develop methods to justify and sell energy efficiency projects to management/leadership
