In 2017, Wauwatosa bioscience inventor and entrepreneur Tom Rehberger sold a second startup, Agro BioSciences, to Church & Dwight Co. for $75 million, making it one of the largest exits for a Wisconsin startup and one of Milwaukee’s best tech success stories.

With the sale, which included the possibility of an additional $25 million based on future business performance, Agro BioSciences became one of the most notable graduates from Milwaukee County Research Park’s Technology Innovation Center in Wauwatosa. Rehberger founded the company in 2013 and grew it from five employees to 36 while using eight offices and five labs at the TIC.

Now that Agro BioSciences has moved on, the tech community is waiting to see which company will be the next big exit from the TIC. Read the full story here.
