Wisconsin native and new Milwaukee resident John Zeratsky, a former product and project designer at Google and YouTube, is bringing his Design Sprint boot camp to Milwaukee in partnership with Startup Milwaukee and Skills Pipeline, which are companies led by Matt Cordio.

The one-day boot camp takes place Dec. 7 at Northwestern Mutual’s Cream City Labs in downtown Milwaukee and will educate people on using a method created by Zeratsky and others in Silicon Valley for creating, building and testing a product prototype within five days.

Originally from Green Lake, Zeratsky attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He most recently spent six years as design partner at Google Ventures, the venture capital arm of Google, where he worked with Google’s portfolio of invested companies.
