A Green Bay company that develops motion tracking systems and related apps for active, sports-minded people has been selected to compete in the NFL’s upcoming Super Bowl startup competition.

The company, Xensr Inc., at 1400 Lombardi Ave. in Green Bay, across the street from the Green Bay Packers’ Titletown District, will go up against companies developing products ranging from eye-tracking software to treatments for cartilage injuries. Competitors are vying for a $50,000 grand prize and two game tickets.

Organizers of the third-annual “1st and Future” contest named startups picked to participate on Thursday.

The competition focuses on startups that are developing products to improve athletes’ safety and performance. It’s sponsored by the NFL, Mayo Clinic and NBCUniversal. Read the full story here.
