Several Wisconsin companies working in the biotech industry are headed to Boston for next week’s International BIO Convention, one of the biggest and most closely-watched gatherings in the life sciences industry.

More than 16,000 people are expected to attend the conference, which is hosted by national lobby group Biotechnology Innovation Organization and runs June 4-7 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in the Seaport District. There are executive training courses and entrepreneurship “bootcamp” programs in the days leading up to the main event, not to mention countless networking receptions and offsite parties in the city.

Among the many organizations and companies representing Wisconsin are Milwaukee’s BloodCenter of Wisconsin and True Process, a Glendale-based tech company that builds software for connected medical devices. You can read more about True Process here. Read the full story here.
