Since 2011, the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, in partnership with the city of Whitewater, has been building a startup hub for Wisconsin companies.

Using 130 acres in Whitewater, the university and city have made room for the Whitewater University Technology Park, a planned site for growing tech companies that already includes the school’s 37,500-square-foot Innovation Center, which houses several startup companies through an incubation program.
