Taha Jangda

MADISON – The latest episode of “WisBusiness.com: The Show” spotlights Taha Jangda, a partner at HealthX Ventures in Madison. Jangda talks about what brought him to HealthX, one of Wisconsin’s most active venture capital firms, and the recent closing of its $75.5-million second fund.

In addition, Tom Still gives an update on “Vision 2020,” a report in which the Tech Council recommended goals for the state’s tech-based economy. He will also discuss these coming events:

  • A March 24 webinar on the $100-million proposal to build a larger venture capital “fund of funds,” which will feature State Rep. Mike Kuglitsch, R-New Berlin; WEDC Deputy Secretary Sam Rikkers; investor and MadRep CEO Jason Fields; and entrepreneur Karen Renee of Burlington.
  • An April 1 webinar on the economic value of academic research and development featuring UW-Madison Chancellor Becky Blank; UW-Milwaukee Chancellor Mark Mone; and Venture Investors LLC partner Scott Button.
