AB 305 author Rep. Andre Jacque at a Capitol hearing yesterday said the law should change because he is appalled by the idea of aborted fetuses being treated as commodities. Under AB 305, those found in violation of the law would be guilty of a class H felony, which carries the potential for prison time. The bill also would set a maximum $50,000 fine.
