A growing leadership development program called Forward 48 is now taking applications for the group’s spring cohort.

This effort of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, the New North and the Wisconsin-based Hoan Group was launched two years ago. Since that time, 279 participants have completed the program, which has now grown to include Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, Kenosha, the Fox Valley and other communities in northeastern Wisconsin.

The program’s latest cohort is limited to 120 spots, connecting the state’s most “promising young leaders” under age 40 with executives from around the state. The six-week program includes a series of meetings where participants can learn from established leaders.
