Nominations and applications are now being accepted from Wisconsin companies of all shapes and sizes for the 2025 Wisconsin Innovation Awards with a deadline of July 31 at 11:59 p.m.

Hosted by the Wisconsin Technology Council, the awards ceremony will be held on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 4, as a precursor to the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium on Nov. 5-6; both events will take place at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.

Now in its 12th annual celebration, the Wisconsin Innovation Awards seek to recognize and inspire creative thinking that spans all sectors of the state’s economy – including manufacturing, agriculture, forest products, non-profits, life sciences, technology, food, the arts, education, government and more.

These awards aim to elevate transformative ideas and the people behind them. Past winners have come from 30 distinct Wisconsin communities with 98 category winners since the contest’s inception.

“Innovation isn’t confined to tech startups,” said Angela Schlobohm, vice president of the Wisconsin Technology Council. “It thrives in all corners of Wisconsin’s economy, and we’re proud to highlight the incredible work being done across industries.”

The WIA celebration is more than an awards ceremony. It brings together entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, and business leaders from throughout the state, creating a powerful network of inspiration and collaboration.

Don’t be shy about nominating your best friend (or yourself) if you think the innovation is noteworthy. There’s no limit to the number of companies you can nominate.
