Over the past year, the artificial intelligence lab Microsoft Corp. at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Connected Systems Institute has helped more than 10 Wisconsin companies turn ideas into AI-powered tools.

The lab is supported by a $500,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. and includes an office of TitletownTech, the venture capital firm Microsoft formed with the Green Bay Packers that received its own $500,000 WEDC grant.
