Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) announces it has achieved a 4.5 out of 5 rating according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Private Commercial Health Insurance Plan Ratings for 2022.
Of 536 health plans nationally reporting partial or full data to NCQA, only 36 plans received a 4.5 rating, putting GHC-SCW in the top 10% of plans nationally. No other plans in Wisconsin ranked higher.
“We’ve made it our mission to continually innovate and improve for our members,” said Dr. Mark Huth, GHC-SCW Chief Executive Officer. “We’ve earned an ‘excellent’ accreditation status for 27 years from NCQA and regard the ratings as a kind of ‘People’s Choice Award,’ because they represent direct feedback from our members about their experiences at GHC. And that’s why all 800+ of us get out of bed in the morning – to provide superb care to our members.”
