As businesses continue to struggle to find workers, it’ll get harder to find employees if Wisconsin continues on its current track, according to a new report.
The state is on track to have 130,000 fewer working age people by 2030 than it does right now, according to Forward Analytics, the data wing of the Wisconsin Counties Association.
Using U.S. Census data and information from the Internal Revenue Service, Dale Knapp, director of Forward Analytics, said the state needs to significantly increase the number of young workers during the next decade.
