An elite group of pro athletes, including Aaron Rodgers and Khris Middleton, has invested in farmland, organic foods, truck accessories, Elon Musk’s Space X, and many other fields, to parlay their hefty salaries into fortunes beyond sports.

Middleton, a Milwaukee Bucks NBA All-Star, is one of around 20 blue-chip athletes who recently acquired a 104-acre farm in Iowa. They’re part of a larger group of athlete investors, represented by Patricof Co. of New York, with 200 participants from across the major U.S. sports.

It’s a private, invitation-only outfit run by investment banker Mark Patricof.
