A new report summarizes the 2022 activities of WEDC’s entrepreneurship and innovation programs, which support a vibrant entrepreneurial culture in Wisconsin by offering targeted resources to various types of startups at crucial stages of development.

During the period covered by the report (fiscal year 2023 for some programs and calendar year 2022 for others, depending on each program’s reporting basis), a total of 336 companies and more than 3,000 entrepreneurs received assistance through WEDC’s programs to support entrepreneurship and innovation programs. The companies assisted by these programs reported generating more than $492 million in revenue and $945 million in new funding, and supported nearly 5,000 Wisconsin jobs.
