The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction on Tuesday announced a nearly $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to boost career and technical education.

The DPI was one of 19 grantees in the country to be given funds through the Perkins Innovation and Modernization, Career Connected High Schools grant program.
