Economic Innovation Group: CHIPS off the Federal Funding Block: Using Data to Inform the Location of the 20 New Regional Innovation Hubs

Madison scored well in a Dec. 5 report by the Economic Innovation Group, which ranked a number of cities nationally based on their potential to become regional technology “hubs” outside major existing hubs on the East and West coasts. The report ranked Madison fourth among five potential hubs in the Economic Development Administration’s Chicago region. It scored highest in the region for potential and last on need.
