Corporate innovators will talk about their work Jan. 18 at Whitewater University Innovation Center

Several of southern Wisconsin prominent companies will talk about research, innovation and workforce needs Thursday, Jan. 18 at a Tech Council Innovation Network luncheon at the Whitewater University Innovation Center.

Panelists include Todd Asmuth, president and chief strategy officer for SHINE Technologies; Larry Chapman, chief executive officer of Summerset Marine Construction; and Brian Schauf, director of engineering for Promega. Tom Still, Tech Council president, will moderate the panel and audience questions.

The luncheon will be held at 1221 Innovation Drive in Whitewater, which is northeast of the Highway 59 and 12 intersections. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for students and returning veterans, $25 for individual members, $35 for non-members and included for Tech Council corporate members.
