American co-location firm Involta, which has rebranded to Ark Data Centers, will hold a grand opening for its northeast Wisconsin data center starting 1 p.m. June 12 at W. 6149 Old Highway Road, Menasha. Refreshments will be served and tours of the data center will follow a ribbon-cutting.

Involta plans to build multiple buildings on the 24.5-acre site, extending the current footprint to up to 20MW. The land is in the village of Harrison near Menasha and contains a data center previously owned by Kimberly-Clark.

The newly-branded Ark Data Centers, not to be confused with UK-based operator Ark Data Centres, will continue to provide Edge, co-location and cloud facilities under its new name.

The company also operates in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Minnesota, Idaho and Arizona. Contact: Brian Hanson, bhanson@involta.com.
