JSOnline: Shine Technologies gets go-ahead for $100 million Janesville plant

Monona-based Shine Medical Technologies Inc. said Thursday it has received a construction permit from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to build a plant in Janesville that will make medical isotopes.

Shine is the only medical isotope producer to reach this stage of the commission’s permitting process since the 1960s, the company said. Read the full Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story here.
