Madison, Wis. – January 18th, 2021 – Today RedFox AI, a startup based in Madison, announced the immediate availability of their new service called BlueFox Box that aims to help people get the basic groceries that they need when they need them.
“With so many people seeking alternatives to the conventional way of grocery shopping we decided to create BlueFox as a local option for people to get the basic groceries they need on-demand,” said Nick Myers, CEO of RedFox AI.
BlueFox Box is unique in that all the boxes contain a pre-selected and hand-curated set of food products that are meant to feed a family of 1-3 people for approximately 1-2 weeks. To make the process of ordering a BlueFox Box even more simple RedFox AI developed a custom Alexa Skill (Google Action coming soon) where customers can place an order for their BlueFox Box in under 15 seconds using Amazon Alexa. “Very few e-commerce companies currently leverage the power of voice assistants like Alexa and Google to streamline their ordering process, and we wanted to be one of the first companies to show people that ordering things you need via voice is an incredibly simple and faster alternative to ordering via your computer or smartphone,” said Brett Brooks, RedFox AI’s CTO.
To start, BlueFox Box will be available exclusively in Madison but hopes to expand to more markets in the future. RedFox AI has also partnered with Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin and will be donating 5% of every box purchased to help fight hunger and to support those who may not be able to feed themselves or their family during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can also enable the BlueFox Box Alexa Skill in the Alexa Skills Store using your Alexa App for iOS or Android.
