Under development for two years, the system that will let Milwaukee Brewers fans drive into American Family Field’s parking lots on Tuesday without waiting in line to pay is the first of its kind in the U.S.

It also was devised and created by Milwaukee companies. The Milwaukee Brewers worked with Interstate Parking, a national operator based downtown.

Generally, parking can be paid through Major League Baseball’s Ballpark app or at four payment kiosks on the grounds, and solar-powered cameras at the lot entrances will scan license plates to check for compliance.
