The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. recently unveiled a new 3-7-barrel pilot brewery at its Chippewa Falls brewing campus.

The 3-7-barrel flex system brewed its first beer in late February, a pre-Prohibition-style lager, which was inspired by the Leinenkugel’s Original and an homage to the history of the 155-year-old brewery, but the new system also allows for increased innovation from the company.

The Jacob Leinenkugel’s Brewing Co. is owned by Chicago-based Molson Coors Beverage Co. (NYSE: TAP). Its president is Dick Leinenkugel, though Leinenkugel’s nephew Tony Bugher will assume the role of president at the end of the year.
