UnitedHealthcare promises to reduce southeast Wisconsin employers’ health insurance rates by 8% to 13% — and trim employee out-of-pocket costs — if they enroll in a new network that includes Advocate Aurora, Froedtert Health, the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Wisconsin.
UnitedHealthcare will sell the new accountable care product called NexusACO during this fall’s insurance-enrollment season for the 2023 plan year. Employers and their staffs will see the greatest cost savings when patients utilize physicians and specialists from the four “Tier 1” health care systems.
